Why Cold Therapy?
Cold therapy is an ancient practice used to reduce inflammation and activate the body and mind. Although the cold temperatures can be very intense at first you will start to notice a boost of energy directly after your session. You'll likely also notice that any aches and pains you've been dealing with are less intense, as the cold reduces inflammation and helps your muscles loosen up. Anyone can benefit from our cryotherapy treatment, whether you're very active or have a sedentary job.
Preliminary evidence also shows that cold therapy can boost your immune system and help with weight loss, when paired with a healthy diet and exercise. When the body is cold, metabolism naturally increases slightly, making a weight loss plan more effective.
We are amazed and believers in the teachings of Wim Hof and his ability to harness the power of the cold.
Through breath and focus cold becomes healing.
Humans did not evolve to sit at a desk all day in a constant temperature of 72 degrees. We need to activate our bodies, ground with the earth, and keep the mind positive.
Studies show cold challenges the body, stimulating repair and genesis, and elevates our mood and mental focus. You may be cold when you get out but everyone feels invigorated and alive!!

CRYOTHERAPY
Cryotherapy is an innovative treatment that uses cold therapy to manage pain and inflammation. It initially became popular among athletes who used cold therapy to speed recovery time and deal with the natural soreness and aches that come with athletic activity. Studies show cryotherapy's beneficial effects on the brain as levels of norepinephrine, the hormone responsible for attention, focus and positive mood, increase after exposure to cold. It can help to reduce stress and make it easier to fall asleep at night. There are so many benefits of cryotherapy, and if you've been struggling with sore muscles or pain, it's a great way to support a healthier, more comfortable life.
The Chamber
During a cryotherapy session, you will stand in a cold chamber for approximately three to five minutes. The first few sessions may be shorter, as it can take time to adjust to the extreme cold temperatures of a cryotherapy session. Cryotherapy chambers are cooled to temperatures from -80 to -200 degrees Fahrenheit using liquid nitrogen.
Our staff can adjust the temperatures depending on your comfort level and your experience with cryotherapy. They will also instruct you to turn at various points throughout the session to ensure you get an even application of the liquid nitrogen. You can stop the session at any time if you are uncomfortable.
